This week we didn't concentrate on studies for sure--who
would when it's time for the graduation trip. Think about
it! 3 days 2 nights with dear classmates in the middle of
Taiwan, visiting some famous scenic spots during the day,
playing games or cards in the hotel room with mates.
Ain't it terrific for a 15-yr-old boy/gal. Me? oh well I
am NOT a student but I pretty much enjoy travelling no
matter when I go with a tour or alone. ( plan to visit
Korea next break...not confirmed though hehe )
Our tour guide was Panda ( his nick of course, I know
about his real name but he said 'you can call me Panda'
well I didn't mind indeed ) and he's there to help me
take care of my students for 3 days. Tall and tan, this
tall young guy majors in cooking, and he always talks in
a gentle tone. Not like me, the 'fierce' homeroom teacher
would yell at them once in a while. *grins evilly* So we
got on the bus and headed off to Janfusun Fancyworld in
Yunlin county. They have many facilities you can see in
most playgrounds, so I don't bother to intro them one by
one ( you can always check online.) Some differences I
could tell...they didn't have the Coffee and Tea museums
last time as I paid a visit. So I entered both to see the
exhibition--friends you know I am into tea and coffee;
they even shouted us teachers coffee in the evening. I
had a orange-fragrant hot coffee. To my surprise, later
on when we were in the Janfusun Prince Hotel I could
still fall asleep well at night. Maybe walked a lot in
the afternoon, watched a show ( a circus from Russia )in
the evening and eventually felt tired enough.
The next morning we proceeded to the well-known place Sun
Moon Lake and most students went pray for good luck--they
will take CBT next May to enter their ideal senior high
schools. I prayed with them...truly hope their dreams can
come true. ( Weird...come to think of it I didn't even
get a thought to pray for myself at the moment! ) Then we
left for another famous playground--Formosan Aboriginal
Culture Village, located in Nantou county. Needless to
say they got good sights and attractions; moreover they
have a great stuff--cable cars. I remember the last time
I took a cable car was when I was in Syd. And this time
it's the same fun--enjoyed the view from high above with
my 3 colleagues. I had my second coffee again ( and once
again fell asleep nicely at midnight. hah )
We had a party after dinner; some students went perform
on the stage ( every class had to 'push' a few
representatives there as a matter of fact. ) When it's
going to end all students stood up and started to dance.
Panda took my hand and pulled me up to the stage--ended
up I gotta take more exercise even when I thought I did
get enough from earlier the day. ( Why teachers can keep
fit easily can you see now ) Oh there's an event which I
didn't expect after I took a bath though. Got a boy
student's call and reported to me one boy from the next
room climbed over the fence to their balcony and
something's wrong with their window. My students were
told by me they gotta pay for what's broken in the hotel
room. It's late but I gotta call the other homeroom
teacher and Panda to take a look. Well that naughty boy
who climbed over and caused the trouble didn't admit at
first. Sure most ppl would defend themselves no matter
what. Being tired I just said without looking at the
'suspect', 'ok then big hotels like this one always have
cams installed to maintain their safety let's just get
the tape and the evidence will talk.' In a few secs time
he said 'yah it's me.'
The boy who called was praised by me later on in class
since it's correct to ask for help right away. Otherwise
they might have got into big trouble. Anyway, the third
day our destination was for more knowledge--National
Museum of Natural Science in Taichung. My 'detour' to get
quite a few boxes of Sun cakes, 'wife' cakes and
'husband' cakes made this trip a perfect ending. :P

Why we like slow songs more
Saw something funny this early morning as I went out to get
traditional Chinese breakfast ( shao bing and such you know
.) A guy wearing shorts rode a bike ( not funny I know )
and I found something's wrong with him but why. After I
took a careful look I found he wore a pair of socks ( not
funny again I know ); one's white and the other's light
orange. Ah...guys don't mind their looks like we women I
guess. :D
Don't ask me how come he wore like this I didn't get the
nerve to run after him and ask! :P
My sis didn't feel well today...she asked me to d/l some
nice slow songs for her mp3 player. Of course I'm glad to
help. And I told her why we enjoy slow songs better now,
since the 'tempo' of our life in TW is very fast. We seldom
feel bored or got nothing to kill time at night--very noisy
on the street even it's midnight at many places in Taipei.
That's why I had to turn my friend in the states down while
he's offering his metal ones via DCC. *chuckles* different
life styles count.

Here comes the policeman!

Heh...Friday
Listening to an interesting song:
鐵竹堂-能不能
作詞:王威登 作曲:林邁可 女聲:溫嵐 Landy
Landy:
Landy: 能不能就對著我說愛我 能不能就陪著我天長地久
不要對我若即若離 讓我傷心淚流
能不能就對著我說愛我 能不能就陪著我一直到最後
從今以後剩下的路要你陪我走
Landy:能不能就對著我說愛我 能不能就陪著我天長地久
Jason:能不能 能不能 能不能夠 對著我說愛我
Landy:相信我 能不能就對著我說愛我 能不能就陪著我一直到最後
Jason:就一直到最後...
Not bad the guy finally found she's the one who's been
around. I am not anyhow in a serious relationship at this
moment in my life. Guess I'm too busy...work's becoming
hectic, and will need to lecture more in the near future.
*sighs with a smile* Well yeah I know it's tiring but it
also means more pay. That's why I went to the department of
studies complaining to our grade coordinator about my lousy
schedule for this new semester; later on the assistant
comforted me like 'oh but we let you have more classes...'
I then made the gesture of 'close the mouth' by crossing
both my index fingers in front. My boss, the director of
studies, laughed and said 'how come you're that easy to be
pacified!' I just don't wanna argue over something that
cannot be changed much...whether it's about work, or other
stuff. It's useless to lament for what I can never work
out--no point to waste my time then.
Talking about typhoons, Talim's gone, and a new strong one
Nabi is approaching. Hmm a window fell off and got broken
because of the last one. No idea what damage the new one
will cause here. *prays* Hope everything's fine...and my ex
classmate WS can move to her new place this Sun. I don't
wanna keep ringing her and asking her what's going on. She
would need some space I guess. After I blogged about the
event that she came to me with her bf and she asked me to
lend her money, a friend bothered to reply me with his
point of view and then advised me not to regret for the
money gone. *feels grateful* Indeed I work hard for money,
always wanna save up more and live a comfortable life (
doesn't mean it's necessary to buy lots of brand name
products ) and I convince myself I will be happy and rich
even if I might be single for the rest of my life. That
friend doesn't need to worry about me, since I always think
bright in bad situations. *chuckles* However...thanks for
your care, my friend from this cyber world. :)
I watched Tsabasa Chronicle ep.1 and got :O as I found
the main characters are just the same in an old anime I watched
a few years ago. The OP song's great! :D

Typhoon day, blogging day
Aug 28
It's Sunday...school starts next week...and I didn't do
anything important today. My schedule would keep unknown
until I go for meetings tomorrow, and somehow I don't mind
how many classes I will have the coming semester. If I have
more classes I will earn more money. If less classes it'll
be relaxing and I can read more stuff, chat more... :P No
matter what I hope time flies, and my adventure will go on.
Aug 29
Sighs what a schedule for me. most of my sessions are
arranged in the afternoon. Guess I'll have to do everything
to catch students attention...or maybe wear better. *winks*
Had long meetings today, learned our new principal is both
smart and kind-hearted while she's talking to us. I'm so
glad those mean, kinky, and stupid male bosses left this
school one by one. *big smile* From now on I can work
better and more happily without worrying about those mid-
aged ( or shall I say old ) guys' intention to take
advantage of me. My good friend, the math teacher Xu, is a
homeroom teacher in grade 7; another good friend who is a
math teacher too Chen, is a subject teacher and she's going
to be a mom in Dec. :D Both Xu and me told her we will go
food shopping during our break time and just order whatever
she would like to eat--we'll run for her! :P
Aug 31
Well...it's good or bad. This afternoon I didn't work at
school. Slacking off? Of course...NOT. We got the notice
during the 4th class this morning that there would be no
class since the strong typhoon Talim's approaching Taiwan.
As soon as it's announced all students shouted with glee! I
must admit I am not a glutton for work; thus, I let all
students pack their stuff ( including their lunch boxes--
they had to go home before they ate lunch then ) and
dismisses the class. I drove home, found a good parking
space ( lucky! ) and saw my mom sitting on the couch in the
living room eating lunch. She didn't expect to see me at
noon but I didn't mind--bought my lunch box already.
These 2 days I didn't see Sam at school much. To be exact
he's not been in class lately, but wandering on campus all
day, and finally got caught by my colleagues who are
responsible for those kids that cannot behave. His dad
talked to me on the phone and even paid me a visit at
school. But the problem isn't solved. Sam's mother left
when he's still a baby--she's too young to be a wife and
mom. It was his auntie ( younger sis of his dad's ) who
brought him up. Some kids in this situation would work
harder to make up what they already lost and have great
accomplishments. But others might go astray even when ppl
around him, family, relatives, friends, classmates...care
for him. I don't know. I only know they need love...a lot
of love, to fill in the hole of their hearts, where
emptiness has been existing ages ago.

Typhoon's gone; so is my money. @_@ How come you must be
asking? Maybe...this woman still went out shopping on a
typhoon day? or went KTV with friends since there's no work
today? no no no no no! Let me tell ya what happened...
This early morning ( by 'early' I mean before 8 a.m. ) my
telphone rang. Okay...I got up and answered it. My ex
classmate WS, the one I mentioned on my blog before, told
me she was to rent an unit but didn't have enough money.
She needed to pay for 7500 NT a month for the unit, and
furthermore 15000 NT for the cash pledge. As a matter of
fact I have debts to pay off, but WS sounded very sorrow--I
really have no idea what her bf, the taxi driver, is for!
If I have difficulties ( I did have some ) I would ask my
family members first, or my bf ( if I have one ) to give me
a hand. If a bf cannot help when I get into trouble, I am
sure he's useless when we are in some troublesome situation
later on in our marriage. Very well...I don't know about
WS's bf enough, and I already dislike him enough.
I talked about this event with my best friend in Vancouver ww,
and both of us felt it icky. I never enjoy being in danger ( who does? )
but I walked in strong wind and rain for I promised to transfer
15000 NT to her account via ATM. Wonder if I can get my money back...
call me too kind-hearted, call me 'baka'... -_-

Where to stay
Got my ex classmate's call. She seemed in a bad mood and asked
me if she could come over. Of course I welcomed her. Ended up
she came with her bf, who I met for the very first time. He's a
taxi driver, very tan and looked worried. We sat at the table,
having some green tea I prepared, and then I learned their
story. My classmate WS dated her bf J, who's going through a
divorce with his Chinese wife, after she broke up with her ex.
By 'Chinese' here I meant his wife is a mainlander. His wife
left him and their kid for China a few years ago--can't imagine
a mom can leave young kids like this you know. But the thing is
WS needs to find a place to stay because she left Taichung
where her ex stays for Taipei to work. Her current bf helped
move her stuff and would like her to stay at his place. That's
why WS came ask for my advice; she's under great pressure from
family and her relationships and couldn't see things through
right now. Lucky we always have a saying: Outsiders can figure
out more easily. Sure I told her what I thought: you're my good
old friend. The only thing I will do is give you my moral
support no matter what guy you wanna be with. However,it's
wrong to stay in your bf's house since he doesn't get divorced
yet. You can stay with me for a few days like my shijie did
last month. While her bf went to the restroom she asked me
again: you don't think it's good to stay in his place? I told
her no. Being such an old friend of hers, I just cannot agree
with such ideas. Call me prudence, I don't mind. I even told
another friend lately...I wouldn't be a good close friend with
a guy who's taken. Not to mention flirt to him. There are so
many single guys out there--why and what is the point to hang
out with a taken man?? Maybe that's why all my female friends
like me, even when their husbands say they wanna shout me
coffee and such. I never talk much with others' bfs or
husbands--wu liao if you ask me why. Anyway the item left my
place for dinner. I hope my friend can make a wise decision.

out with a taken man?? Maybe that's why all my female friends
like me, even when their husbands say they wanna shout me
coffee and such. I never talk much with others' bfs or
husbands--wu liao if you ask me why. Anyway the item left my
place for dinner. I hope my friend can make a wise decision.

Fin for my summber break 2005
Today is the last day of this summer break. Of course gotta
do something special right. ( As a matter of fact what I
did for today ain't anyhow special...) Went to Guanghua
Bazaar and bought some stuff. Had a nice buffet with my sis
( her treat since she earned too much last month.)
These days I watched some anime as usual. SHUFFLE and He is
My Master are both...weird. Sure I know we can't take what
happened in anime seriously, more or less the plot appeared
icky to me in these two. He is My Master would me more
'reasonable' if you asked me. A horny young rich lonely boy
encountered 2 teen gals who ran away from home. What could
ever happen then? :P SHUFFLE in some way is like another
anime I watched before, Air. There's the only male
character, a middle school boy, who's liked by all the
other gals around him. ( I'm sure all my male friends envy
his good luck. ) And the gal could still keep smiling and
get along with him even when he said he looked forward to
tasting the food other gals would make for him. -_- What
the...there's only one fish on earth or what. If my man
said so to me, I'd be happy to let him go. He can leave
anytime happily for any other gal. :D Just remember one
thing--don't ever get a thought to come back to me when he
thinks others are not that good. ( That's why my exs would
find it hard to see or talk to me again once they made such
a decision. :P ) I think such gals are either too lonely or
too desperate, otherwise they really can open up and make
many friends in other fields.
However I ain't sure if I would finish watching such
anime...the plot that goes on like this isn't a big catch
to me. -_-

I can't leave him; neither can I make him stay...
Downloaded a nice song today...it's 溫嵐-離不開他.
Here is the lyrics:
REPEAT*
我留不住他
心像空蕩大廳
一切就要蒸發
風留不住沙
遠距離的牽掛
我還在想他現在好想他
好想他...
Some friend taught me to play with google earth, but I was really bad at finding the location. -_- I guess he went offline with frustration...*sobs* Being nervous I did try hard to search on it, even after he's gone I kept finding for an hour. And now I'm worn out; my index finger hurts. @_@ *sighs* I truly have to find a good and savvy guy in the future...if I want a husband. ( Isn't it sad that both parties are dumb for a couple. ) :P

Back to blog!
Okay 2 days to go--my summer break is going end. Pretty
much enjoying these relaxing ( sometimes a little busy )
days...I haven't blogged for the past 2 months. *smiles* So
many things happened and I really feel happy for not seeing
any mushy sms lately. How come? Martin has given up sending
those meaningless stuff to me already? To tell the truth I
am not sure. I only know I switched off my degree 3 cell
phone by Chinese Lovers Day. LOL~ That day is meaningless
to me also--so sorry that I am still living a single
life... :D
Before summer school started I went travelling in Japan,
and the latest album 'Trip 2 Tokyo' has been shown online
for both net and IRL friends. Most listened to my complaint
about the lousy tour guide, who only cared about selling
medicine and packs of dried abalones to us. The worst he
did to me was he gave me the key to the hotel room I had to
stay for 2 nights: #414. Didn't he know we Taiwanese used
to avoid such unlucky numbers. How nasty and inconsiderate
that guy was. Fortunately I always believe the Lord will
take good care of His kids, so it's real pleasant to stay
in that #414 room. I even asked the hotel staff to get me a
modem then I could come online with my panel NB. Of course
it's not for free--1050 yen for 2 days, not expensive
comparing to the expenses I afforded for other items there.
I had a haircut today, lots of hair cut off...we Taiwanese
have this superstition: if your hair touches your waist,
you'll have to be careful, not to have a haircut until you
find a special date for it ( can check our lunar calendar.
) The thing is my hair was almost to the limit and that
would be troublesome for me to check stuff like this.
So...will take pics soon. Not much difference I hope. :P Oh
yeah someone left me a long comment on my last blog in fact
it's impolite to do something like that. I hope friends you
don't do that. Please have good manners. Thanks.

Encountered him twice
A tiring day really! We did so much work and moved to a new
place--all students worked real hard! Ended up my buying
them cold drinks ( bing1 sha1 is the chinese term ) and
iced green tea. *sobs for money's flying away from my
wallet...* They said black tea would be better, so I guess
I'd order what they like next time. :D After students were
gone I suddenly remember there's no cable for my notebook
in the new office. Then went downstairs to my old office on
the 2nd floor to get my cable back. Didn't expect to see
him, a substitute teacher who's been teaching here this
semester, since his office is on the third floor. He's
using the puter where my cable was right in the IP share
nearby. So I came near and tried to get it without
disturbing his keying in marks for students. But he got up
and gave me a hand...so we were near each other. He gave me
the cable after he got it, and I said 'thank you, teacher (
his name)' Funny to see he got so surprised and said, 'how
come you know my name? I didn't even teach your class.' I
just smiled and left. :P His name was shown above on the
monitor... *grins* :P
Later on I went to the office on the third floor this
afternoon to find my partner who's doing the same lesson
plan. We had to finish some copy and paste and our leader
asked us to turn in the floppy tomorrow. He's back to his
office already. And I felt lucky that he's there since we
had some problem using Word. hehehe my partner called him
to help us with it. She even asked him how old he is...said
she might intro him gals. :P I just sat there and watched
him fixing our stuff. Well...had a small talk and knew he's
leaving for another school. Anyway he's a bit younger than
me, so...period. :)
It's around a year I guess...to keep blogging here. Just
like what I mentioned earlier, no beginning then no ending.
Vice versa, there must be an ending if there's a beginning.
I think it is the time. Last summer break, a semester,
winter break, another semester, and now this summer break.
Time flies ain't it! :D My best friend is living a new
life in another country, and I am to have a vacation in
another country too. Life is lessons to take, truly, and
each day for me...is a brand new world! Enjoy it... ciao

Lesson plans
As usual when a semester is to end, it's time to do the
lesson plans. And this time I work with 2 other colleagues,
who are experieced as well and more diligent than me. :P
Our leader told us the part we got to finish before July
1st, and the rest is our typing it out. After dinner I
started to work on the not-difficult-but-time-consuming
plan. :P Lucky I finished it by 10 p.m. otherwise I would
be mumbling for my lack of sleeping hours. Why didn't I
start earlier while no school this afternoon?? Because...I
went hang out with some friends, had lunch in a Italian
restaurant ( vegetarian of course ) in the mountains ( on a
hill more likely...) Hah the same place I had lunch once
with a mushy guy last year--bleh he's still sending
'creepy' stuff and we all wondered when he will truly give
up. :P

Final exam
School asked me to watch them study and do the test for the
first 2 sessions. Then I had some time spare for keying in
the evaluation of students' performaces. Since we are to
move to new classrooms and offices, I asked in advance if
some volunteer to help me with moving stuff. Needless to
say...*big smile* ^_^
I have to remember 2 things tho--bring enough big plastic
bags to school for the moving, and clean my future desk and
shelfs before students put stuff on. Hmm, will be a tiring
day.

The last lecture for this semester
Yah :D finally it's the last day I had to lecture in class!
Students complained to me that they didn't want school to
start at the very beginning of this semester in Feb...and I
comforted them by saying, 'well...but if no beginning, no
ending...then you guys won't have summer break!' They soon
understood it's a must. LOL~ So much fun getting along with
these grade 8 kids. :P

Nice manga
Read some manga today--a good way to spend a relaxing Saturday ain't it. :D Loveless, The Mythical Detective Loki Rangarok, and Dan Detective School! I always enjoy reading this kind of story, partly suspicious and exciting, and partly romantic ( a lit bit will do...most of the time they are not tho. )

He's spitting
My colleague asked me to take over her duty since she had to go for another important task at school. Of course I would give a hand ( extra pay heh ) and then I was in that classroom. A boy kept on sipping some water from a bottle and then I saw him spitting it on the floor. He just looked like one of the delinguents here. But I wasn't to keep silent. :P I told him to stop since it's dirty...and disgusting. Well he then stopped. Maybe those naughty students need more love and care, you know...somehow I think that's the reason they would do something nutty in order to catch our eye. I do hope those who are to give birth can take the responsibility well and give enough love to their offsprings. Love from a teacher is wonderful...but not fullfilling enough. :)

Time for a new life
WW called me in the evening, and I knew her flight to Vancouver was midnight. I asked her, 'happy right?' She answered 'yeah happy!' LOL~ That is my good friend, pretty much the same style as me. It's a high tech era, and I don't think it's a prob for us to keep contact with each other. :P She even used Sky.. to call me ( it's much cheaper to call international this way she said. :D ) And I wish her good luck ( she always has it ^^ ) and have a brand new fabulous life in a new country. ( And, please don't work hard for settling me down there ok I love Taipei. :P )

Met WW beforehand
Yeah like most Chinese would do--in a restaurant again. But this time something 'funny' happened. :P After we stood up and prepared to leave, the woman who sat at the table near us said, 'hey beauty...you didn't finish your food.' Well one friend didn't eat up her food truly. Sometimes we would be in this situation especially when it's buffet. You saw a new dish, kind of strange food but you wanna give it a go so you put a small amount of it on your plate. After you had a taste and found it's awful...you'd just leave it there, wouldn't torture your stomach right? Well...there were so many other customers at many other tables in the restaurant. I just didn't understand why the woman only paid attention on our food. But we were about to leave...but the woman wouldn't stop! She went, 'hey beauty...you didn't finish your tea.' ( This time she referred to me--I didn't drink up the glass of tea. -_- ) and, 'the food in this restaurant are very natural and healthy. Would you please eat them up and drink it up next time you come here?' Errr...my friend and I said 'oh ok' and then left. I still don't understand now--why that woman only paid so much attention on WW and me? while there were many ppl around... :P

Marketing--got no talent for
Couldn't sleep in on Sat; anyway it's NOT uncommon. This time you can
say 'Flo is such a diligent person' since I went for a course that was
about marketing with my best friend WW. Our field's education...how
come we would go study marketing you might wonder. The reason is WW
will move to Vancouver soon, and she can't work as a homeroom teacher
in a middle school there. So she might become a business woman in the
future. It's boring to study in class with bunches of strangers
right...Therefore she asked me to study with her for quite a few hours.
Lucky they prepared a veggie lunch box for me. Woo :P
Ended up having no idea what marketing is tho... -_- Not our fault.
Must be the lecturers didn't look handsome enough. :P ( See how good I
am to find some excuse! ) We decided to leave earlier and went to the
big department store nearby to look around. *chuckles* you guys know
it's never boring while shopping with the right person--we talked and
laughed, made lots of comments meanwhile. Later on we had some snack at their B1, where you can see many stalls selling different kinds of yummy stuff. I know the 2 guys sitting the next door were interested in us...they couldn't stop looking at us from time to time, and talked in
a way which tended to catch our attention. :P Sounded like working out is a trend eh. LOL~ Toooooooo bad! WW's taken ( how lucky that Canadian guy is! ) and I am too lazy to get involved in a serious relationship at this moment. *bats my eyes...* My dear Mr. Right...you'll have to come over and work hard to make me fall for you then. :P

Gathering at Spring
A busy Fri indeed...I had an important appointment in the morning, and
then met friends at noon. Usually we Chinese like our gathering in
either restaurants or cafes. :P That's why we sat at a table eating
fabulous vegetarian buffet in Spring Veggie Restaurant. :D~ altho it's
a bit expensive... After that I went get the passport, then proceeded
to Taipei Main Station and found some clerks there to make my Japanese
trip next month confirmed...then came back to school and had the very
happy 8th class ( for extra pay. ) *big smile* In the evening a friend
paid me a visit. He's introduced to me by ww and came to give me a hand
since something wrong with my puters. Too bad the old pc in the living
still couldn't work, and I told him it's ok if he couldn't fix it.
*yawns...* I'm very tired. And I'll have a busy Sat...@_@ Awww

Goodbye grade 9 students
Graduation day is tomorrow. I had the last class in grade 9...This boy
student Jason came over to me...he's a good student. Not only does well
on his English test, but can play the piano ( I always have a liking to
such students :P maybe it's because I can play a little as well. )
Anyway he came, I thought he's going to say something sentimental like,
teacher...thanks for your teaching for the past 1 year, and I will miss
you after I graduate... *coughs* I was wrong. He went, 'teacher your
figure's so good...' -_- didn't know what to reply then, neither
touching nor meaningful. LOL~ ok ok...don't pick on students who are to
leave. Congrutulations you guys!

Some collection
Magic power...not :P
Movie Club the last time
I told students to relax and enjoy their last time movie club, since
there will be no pleasant sessions on Wed afternoon no more. This
semester's going to end and they'll be in grade 9, which means they
have to pay all their attention to their CBT. Got to study more then,
poor kids. So it's Sharks Tale, and we watched a fish that pretty much
looked like Will Smith, hey his voice's exactly the same as Will
Smith's...singing and dancing. LOL~

Crystal purchasing
My best friend ww wanna buy some more crystals since she's leaving for
Vancouver. Previously she asked me to go to my shi jei's place and
choose some for her. Later on she decided to come visit me and we could
go together. ( She likes me too much I guess LOL~ ) Thus we were
sitting there in the shi jei's living room, enjoying looking at those
beautiful crystals on the table. I bought some too...couldn't resist
the stones' charm. :P Maybe I'll take a pic and share with you on here
later.

Farewell party at school
No meeting for ETs at my school this afternoon; instead we had a
farewell party for those who are leaving us. Yeah they are not to
retire since they're still very young, but they are substitute
teachers. Our leader said sorry to me a few times since she saw most of
the dishes prepared were not vegetarian--I could only have fried
noodles, fried mifen, and a little fruit. :P Well I don't mind. Maybe
that's why I can always keep fit ( 170 cm, 58 or less kg now. :D )
farewell party for those who are leaving us. Yeah they are not to
retire since they're still very young, but they are substitute
teachers. Our leader said sorry to me a few times since she saw most of
the dishes prepared were not vegetarian--I could only have fried
noodles, fried mifen, and a little fruit. :P Well I don't mind. Maybe

Wet wet...
Quite a suspective topic, no? :P Too bad nothing interesting. :D It's the first day we had our 90 NT lunch, and the guy didn't put those containers well and there was some soup leaking in the big plastic bag. That's why I had to use some tissues to get rid of the wetness before I brought them to my colleagues. *sighs* ok I must say they are lucky since my service is for free--no commission's been asked ever since. *sobs* :P
It's pretty hot today again, but I don't mind. The classrooms I stay in have no air con. hehehe got used to it of course. Last night while chatting on IRC a nice American friend sent me her pic during her vacation. She's there visiting her bf ( they knew each other via IRC ) and now they are an item. woo~ really broke my 'LD relationship wouldn't work' rule. LOL~ I feel happy for the love birds and I hope friends who are looking for true love online can have the same good luck in this cyber world! :D

Now it's higher class
I had to go to the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during my break this morning, so a colleague of mine took the job ordering veggie lunch boxes for us. Like what I've said--we got to have high class lunch from now on. *sobs* ( not that we wanna but...) It's 80 NT each now, from another veggie cafeteria in the neighborhood. We teachers are too lazy to walk out of the school sometimes, you know. It's a given that many restaurants here in Taipei are willing to deliver the food you order to where you are ( if not too far away of course. ) Hmm more rice and more vegetables in the paper container, and they taste great! :D I told my colleagues we'll have the 90 NT class lunch tomorrow. :P Woo they are looking forward to spending more money...NOT. LOL~ Too bad they have no choice if they'd like to eat the same with me. :P

What a pity
The boss of the vegetarian cafeteria noticed me that he would put it to an end to deliver lunch boxes to his cutomers from June 8th onwards. It means I cannot have the 50 or 60 NT-worth lunch anymore, and neither do my colleagues and students. *sighs* Life is not perfect... So, I told them we'll have to 'upgrade' ourselves by eating a much more expensive vegetarian lunch box from Wed. :P
A nasty thing for today--got that Martin guy's sms again this evening. He said 'I know we cannot be lovers...but can't we be friends? blah blah blah...' -_- I thought I told him point-blank enough and he still thought we could be friends? :P

The end of May
Of course it's my being tardy...to blog about these days. :P
*chuckles* In fact there's always something happening every now and
then, but my figures just wanna enjoy the relaxing moment after work,
you know. But today I got to blog! Since I got a phone call for a
friend who I've known for many years...moved to the states and then
became an American citizen ages ago. I'm to have lunch with this friend
in the near future...and have a small...NO a BIG talk!! :D hehehe of
course I insist it's my treat; on the phone--I said, 'hey you got to
treat me well when I take a trip to America in the future!' :P See how
pragmatic I am heh.
Time to write a lot of stuff for students, yes...it's going to be the
end of this semester. Not only mark students' paper but do the
evaluation for each of them, need both hand-writing and key-in effort
@_@ so much fun, no? :P But the best is I will have my summer break
after being working hard for 5 months around. :D And plans for this
summer are made. *winks* Let me keep it in secret for a while. Tomorrow
is our Movie Club time again. Last week we watched Sky Captain and the
World of Tomorrow--ah it's ok...characters ain't attractive to me
there. This morning the class in grade 9 watched Star War III because
they had their CBT last weekend. Poor kids they did need to ease their
minds now by watching something fun. Thus...teachers can also have a
wonderful time in class with them. *a big smile*

Gua Sha
It's Sat and I still had a terrible headache...looked pale. My best
friend Sheila planned to pay me a visit. She asked me on the phone if
she should still come after she knew I was not feeling well. I insisted she
should since we had an appointment with a shi jei ( a lady ) who sells
crystals. Then Sheila was at my place in the afternoon. She assumed I
was 'zhong shu'--got sick because of the heat. Yeah it often hit over
30 C here in Taipei these days...and maybe my period's coming. More
troublesome to be a female :\ you know. She then did 'gua sha' for me
--using a litte plate made of bull horn to rub my skin, kind of
massage. Soon my back looked very 'interesting' :P like I'm being
tortured or such. (if my foreign friends saw this they'd scream I
guess. :P ) And I felt much better after the 'gua sha'.
We went to the shi jei's place later on. Sheila would get some crystals
for her husband in Vancouver. I like such stuff too and both of us
spent some money on the beautiful stones. Sheila got a purple crystal
original stone, which is from Uruguay. Purple crystal symbolizes
wisdom, and it's good for business and 'gui ren' ( assistance from
others. ) I got a 'jin dong', a small crystal grotto, around 3 kg. :P
The light purple radiation from the stone crystallized inside the
grotto glitters...looks so appealing to me. :D Hmm I shall take a pic
of it.
One more 'fun for today' :P I got Lay's newest potato chips--Green tea
flavour, which tastes o...k... I think I still prefer the lemon
flavored ones. The green tea ones are a bit too sweet. Green tea is
supposed to be sweet? I wonder...but I don't mind as long as I have
other choices. :D

Hot
This week I have to take over another teacher's duty, and the first 2
days were quite relaxing! Since grade 9 students have tests on Tue and
Wed, I got nothing to do but sat in front and watched them write.
Sometimes walked around to take a careful look of course. :P Quite
boring, I couldn't talk as well because it might bother students during
the test. :P So yeah...earned extra pay with my month shut then--not
very often I make money this way ( so quietly LOL~ )
The weather's getting hotter and hotter. Finally I decided to turn on
the air con in the evening and let it work all night. Thus I can sleep
sound...altho $_$ *sobs* you know. Well well...like what I said nothing
is perfect in life. :P Sleep is more important anyway. Oh my today is
already Thur--again I wanna ask 'how come life goes on sooooo fast!'
And it'll be a busy weekend @_@ I have to clean my place on Fri evening
or Sat morning. *sobs once more* means I cannot sleep in this Sat. :(

Rainy day buffet day
The weather's been unsteady these days--our rainy season. No school
this afternoon again because of tests. I went have buffet with friends
( another group, different from yesterday's party ) and all vegetarian
dishes there! In fact I have been to this restaurant couple of times.
But some colleague has its VIP card, which can get a discount on the
meal ( around 20% off. ) No wonder I'd rather go than snooze at home
even in a rainy day. :P It worths my time and money since I heard so
much interesting news and '8 gua' cheerfully. :P
In the late afternoon my shi jei, the Avon lady, came pay me a visit as
soon as I got home. She brought me a big gift--an oven. -_- oh no...I
wish I could avoid baking some stuff for good. :P Now I guess I have to
think bout what to bake for my family from now on. LOL~ or maybe I
shouldn't open the paper box at all? Just give it to another friend of
mine and no need to worry anymore. :D Well I'll ponder over this. By
the way I ain't to get others' presents without returning the favour.
hehehe~ that's why I ordered some veggie dumplings earlier and got them
on my way home. So my shi jei and I had dumplings for dinner today. :D~
yummy ones!
Ahh time flies...I always feel so. How come life goes on so fast? :P

Rainy day, free lunch day
We had no school this afternoon. An ex-colleague treated some old
friends lunch today in a cafe. It was raining ( is still raining now )
so I drove them to the cafe first then went park my Justy in a building
nearby. 40 NT for an hour... Anyway it's fun to eat and chat with good
friends. They said some ex-colleagues fell very sick and had operations
these days after they retired. :O Health is real important! I told them
my plan after I retire is teach some poor kids in the elementary
schools nearby for free. Since teachers in Taiwan will get the pension,
I guess I won't worry about my finance a lot that time. Therefore, it's
great to do something helpful for our society! But, my friends are
reasonable, or pragmatic enough to 'splash some cold water on me'. :P
'Oh come on you don't know if you are still able to when you retire...'
LOL~ o...k... :P
When it's time to get my car I asked the guard how much the fee was--
remember it's 40 NT for 1 hour. Justy had been stayed in there for 3
hours, so I asked him twice with a smiling face, 'how much?' He
pondered for a while and answered, '100 NT' woo~ Friends listen to me!
Always wear a smiling face and you earn more! :P
Back home I needed to find some info for my Movie Club. -_- Some boss
said we didn't keep the record well enough! @#$%! ( done my swearing )
And I was smart enough to find such info for all the movies we've
watched so far. *coughs* all right I admit I ain't so smart but our ol
friend GOOGLE! :D ( wait...is it old enough? since when it appeared
online...? google it! )
The anime School Rumble is fun ( watched ep.2 ) but the sms from Martin
isn't fun at all. :P I was so...I felt so...funny? ridiculous
maybe...to see my degree 3 celly got an sms this afternoon. And not
long after that it rang--private number. *blinks* I didn't answer it
for sure and soon I switched it off. The first thought came to me was I
got to discard this number...I can't win this estate agent!! HE IS THE
ONE WHO NEVER GIVES UP!!! >_<

Extra
Not much for today. Still I had good news! :P I took over another teacher's duty and had 2 extra sessions. It's a class in grade 9--I remember I have taught them once or twice before. I saw their homeroom teacher was still in their classroom when I was approaching. :P As soon as I stepped into their classroom, students applauded and 'yeah!' Then...*blushes...I am shy* :P Anyway done the 2 sessions well and it means I'll get extra money. woo~ :D

A red dot on my Justy
Some interesting events for today. At work my colleague sitting next to me told me some 'bad' news. Some teachers would like me to be the leader of homeroom teachers in grade 9 from next semester. Well well...they came to me and said they wanna see a 'mei nuu' to represent them. LOL~ :P But too bad I ain't to represent any other person but myself. :D And, yes...as you know, I am very practical--it's impossible for me to do something useless or worthless like that. Thus, I had to turn them down very nicely... *sighs* :P
On my way home, I found a very bright red dot moving on my car window, right in front of my sight. I was driving along, but still felt curious...I moved closer and see very tiny legs walking on the glass quietly. ( of course :P ) It's a very small spider! The first time I saw a spider with such colour...fun! :D

Mother's Day cake

It's a trend to have cakes on Mother's Day in Taiwan. Therefore my family also ordered a cake--chocolate pudding with lots of fresh butter! :D~ And you guys can see there's a flower, which is carnation, on the top of the cake. We also took some other pictures, but my sis threatened us that we must not post them on our websites. Why? Since her hair wasn't set up well. LOL~

Allergy or flu?
Long time no blog? :P Well I found it's hard to live without tissues these days. Previously I thought it's my allergy...got a runny nose for a couple of days. Students heard my 'urm sorry if I stop to wipe my nose later in class' from time to time. It lasted for a week or longer...weird. Then I found my throat hurt -_- hm... A friend on MSN said all his family, including himself, got flu. Thus I wondered maybe I got not only allergy but flu! Usually it's fast for me to recover from allergy, atmost 1 or 2 days. Of course I still insist that I don't see a doc, neither do I take any medicine. *chuckles* yeah yeah won't complain when others tell me off for that. :P I'm afraid of the smell of medicine! The only 'medicine' I can accept and I would take is chinese herbs, but very limited kinds...I mean not heaty ones. Otherwise, something like 'dang gui' ( very heaty ) will make my voice disappear for a while. And you know I pretty much rely on my voice in this field... :P
As for my entertainment, watching more TV is a good way to kill time recently, especially after I got a flatscreen TV. :D oh the colour is so bright and beautiful...comparing to that old TV set. The only flaw is I can't watch anime I d/l on there since they are all avi. you know. My boy student Jacky knows how to transfer avi. to VCD, but I dare not ask him to teach me...( don't wanna go to jail LOL~ ) However my NB can do a good job, and my pc has only 10 GB left!!! Awww is it the time to get a bigger HD now? *sighs* :P This pc was bought in Jan 2004. Oh another old pc came in 2000...and it's still in the living room--how come there? :D hehe we got a TV box for it and then the second TV appeared!! That's why life is still very busy altho I have no bf. *coughs* ( ain't complaining ok :P ) Anime for these days, Air is real boring so far...Honey & Clover is more interesting ( and more cute young guys in there :P woo. )
Today is Sat...tomorrow is Mother's Day. I'll go out later to look around and go shopping maybe in a night market. I prepared flowers for my mom already...no other gift for I gave her a red envelope with 6000 NT in it last week to wish her happy birthday and happy mother's day. hehehe :P And I wish all the homeroom teachers, who take care of students at school just like mothers to their kids, a happy mother's day too!! :D

We lost the game
Awww we did our best (?) and were pulled over by another class. Thus the game's over. Seeing my dear students felt down...I...urm...I didn't feel too bad tho. :P Since a parent gave me 500 NT and said she would like me to get some soft drink for kids, I then got apple juice for my class. They soon got better and started kidding again--good to look forward and think bright, just like their homeroom teacher. LOL~
This afternoon I had to take over a PE teacher's duty. So it's time to stay on the court and run after my students...NOT. :P I don't get the habit to 'chase' you know. *smiles* But fun to bring my digi cam and take pics while some of them were playing basketball, others were resting under the trees. Yeah it's quite relaxing and comfortable for all of us. :D

One contest Done
So it's time to perform on the stage, my dear teen-aged students,
facing the three judges and playing the flute. I could hear your hearts
beating hard because of nervousness... :P and some of you still tried
to keep smiling on there! *sobs...me so proud of you all!* :P Being a
homeroom teacher, I certainly remembered to bring my digi cam and took
pics and even recorded the second song they did. Well, I must say it's
their best performance since they practiced these 2 songs a month ago!
:D
Then we went back to our classroom and enjoy our 'Movie Club' time.
Belphegor-Le Fantome Du Louvre was not too bad, altho not scary enough.
Sorry to say so, you know...we Taiwanese has more than enough scary
topics in our TV shows or movies. That's why all the students sat there
watching and having pearl milk tea, which costs 10 NT each, my treat...
:P without a single screaming in the classroom. Now then you know we
have been 'pampered' in some way. *winks*
If it's fine tomorrow, we'll have the Ba He contest with another class
on the court. Hmm...what drink shall we get this time. :D

Minus 3
So I did feel excited bout my new toys--the TV and DVD burner, and certainly it's a must to try its function! The thing is I have to do a 'minus 3' while doing the recording. For example, if I wanna record the program on channel 33, I will set it on 30 otherwise the program recorded won't be what I want. :P The kind-hearted sales person didn't set my machine well enough I guess...but, I shouldn't call to bother him again I guess. :P Way too troublesome for him to come over! :D I think I have do rely on myself now and try to manipulate them!
As for anime...getting Prince of Tennis, and have fun burning them on the cheapest CDs I ever got--50 pcs for 159 NT. *thankful tears falling* :P I hope the quality can be good enough tho--can still watch them 10 years later, I pray... LOL~ :P Another anime I watched recently is Air. Well I don't think it's interesting like what the forum said, so far. Pretty dull...and only one guy surrounded by other females, from old to young. *sighs* no idea what the main idea is. Maybe I'll get a clear pic later on tho. Let's wait and see.

A very expensive Sat
Ho I guess I was crazy again! Today's fine and I couldn't help going
out to have lunch and look around at a shopping centre. Then...did a
big purchase! A flatscreen TV and a DVD recorder... *sighs* :) Well
what can I say? LCD TVs now still cost a bomb--a 36" looks good but the
price doesn't worth it. Maybe a couple of years later when the price
gets reasonable...I will get one. We used to record TV programs with
our VHS machine--it's more than 20000 NT 10 years ago! Yeah you can say
it was the highest model that time ( and brand name it is--Panasonic!)
But nowadays it's the trend to use DVD RW; thus I bore the pain in my
heart caused by thinking of the flying away money and ordered what I
would like. :D The best was that salesperson was real good. He came
over to teach me how to use them step by step, and even asked me to
operate the procedures in case I didn't understand. *shedding some
thankful tears* Finally I learned and then I asked him how much I
should pay him. He didn't want a penny from me. Oh dear Lord...bless
this kind-hearted young man please! :D He will surely be a great sales
person and hope he can make a tremendous fortune!! ^_^

Ba He (a tug of war)
Like what I mentioned earlier...this is the competition season. :P We
had this kind of sport (?) *wondering if it can be described as a sport
tho...* called 'ba he'. Two groups of students go pull a long thick
cord made of flax and see which end are weak and then get pulled over.
Usually their weight counts, of course. I took a look at my dear
students, who are in grade 8 and some of them still look like
elementary school students...*sighs* I decided to buy them soy milk
after they finished the game. Therefore, I was standing there, using my
digi cam to record their strugging and shouting meanwhile, 'jai you!
Lower your body! Stay backwards! Pull! Pull!' ( like a crazy woman but
lucky nobody was shooting me LOL~ )
Urm...ended up we won the game. -_- *sighs* How come? The Lord must
think 'hmm this homeroom teacher's so nice that we can't let her class
lose!' But...dear Lord I don't really wanna shout like mad on the court
again! *sobs...me and my elegant image's ruined* :P

Snoopy Case
Lovely visitors
Got Daniel's phone call this early morning, said he's to pay me a visit with Pony, who is one of my favorite gal students and now his schoolmate. They were classmates and graduated from this school. I was happy to meet them! ( I don't really wanna see most of my students again once they are gone you know. :P But I don't mind meeting those who are so cute! )
So we were all in my office, having milk tea and some snack I prepared earlier. Daniel is now the president of students committee at their school, and Pony quitted the Guitar Club and joins the Dactylology Club. @_@ I asked her how come...thought she's interested in playing the guitar. She didn't feel comfortable there she said...and couldn't really get along. Okay...maybe it's fun to learn some sign language too. Daniel told me bout his 'love story', which happened a few years ago. ( woo~ so young! ) He said they had the same interest--drawing pictures, and they often stayed together doing some painting or such for school. He thought the gal's nice, but the only problem was that gal was a few years older. awww :P That's why he didn't think they were good match. ( LOL~ No wonder he's my good student...the same thought! ) Pony was surprised to listen to his story and went, 'Hey you didn't tell me about this before!' :P Ohh~
And they gave me lovely present--some candy and cookies in an Iron box with Snoopy on the case. :P I took a pic and maybe will upload here later on. Nice to see you, my sweet students! :D

School of Rock
Ahh...this week is supposed to be another peaceful and pleasant week
for me, and things just turned so unexpectedly...fun...NOT. I got
allergy yesterday morning, and all of a sudden I couldn't stop
sneezing, and felt very tired. Some gal students came to my office to
have a talk around 11 a.m. and went, 'whoa! Teacher you cried? Ain't
you ok earlier at the first class??' I swear I really didn't wanna make
students worried bout me. :P hahaha and like what I used to say, I soon
got well after drinking more water and sleeping enough. :D
By the way it's the contest season for us. We need to perform on the
stage playing the flute, all the classes in grade 8. So that's why I
have to use some spare time in class to make them practice more! Well I
ain't someone who's crave for the championship, but hope my students
won't fall off from the stage and are able to play the 2 songs well. In
a word, don't they lose face will do. *grins* Too bad I can't play with
them on there, so my responsibility will be take some photos for those
lovely boys and gals. :P
This time we had School of Rock for our Movie Club on Wed afternoon. I
remember I watched it on the plane last winter break when I was coming
back to Taiwan. But the dub was German with Chinese sub, quite weird I
know. And today we had English dub and Chinese sub--much better for me,
and students too. LOL~ It's a funny one and Wendy told me she likes
this kind of topic. No wonder, you know...she plays the piano too.
I started to watch the anime Air, and done ep. 1 this evening. Guess
they are ripped off DVDs? The quality's very good, but the only flaw is
dub and sub couldn't match well. Some I watched before had this problem
also. Hmm maybe it's my machine or what? I don't know...and the OP ED
songs for Yakitate Japan changed on ep. 13--both are nice! I listened
to Soul'd Out-Flyte Time and found I pretty much enjoy such music, fun
and relaxing. :D

Not a tiring week but still tired
It's Tomb Sweeping Day this Tue, a national holiday, no work no school.
Then We had a quite relaxing Wed--I keyed in students' marks they got
from the first periodical test in the morning, and watched Taxi 2 for
our Movie Club. My boy student Jerry brought a digi cam and took some
photos of classmates and teachers. His is a brand name stuff, Sony,
which is better than my Texon. ( I know I know...I never heard that
brand before either. ) So the photos taken look sharp--Jerry looked
happy and proud after I told him so. :P I should go get a better digi
cam too, but *sighs* now I gotta save up money for my trip to Japan
this summer break. It'll cost a bomb since ppl who have been there
informed me stuff in Tokyo are real expensive. My $...is to fly away!
*sobs* :P
On Thur a gal student was to leave for another school to study. Daisy
is very nice and she gave me a hand in class for the past 6 months. I
pretty much relied on her and of course it's sad to see her leave.
Therefore I prepared a little gift, a bracelet made of pink crystal,
which means good luck in 'tao hua'. But since she's still a junior high
student, I'd say it can bring her good luck in making good friends in
her new class. ( And it's written in the card I wrote to her. :D ) Her
eyes were full of tears when she came up to me...so were my eyes. Wish
you all the best for your brand new school life, Daisy. :)
Fri we had our grade 9 students take photos for their year book. They
are going to graduate from this junior high school. That's why I was
there on campus sitting with this class and their homeroom teacher and
other subject teachers. The photographer 'complained' our faces were so
'stiffed' and our smiles looked very unnatural. LOL~ Hearing that we
all laughed and then it started going well. It will bring back the
happy memories when students grow old and one day they open up the year
book...'wow we looked so young and pure (?) that time! erm no idea if
this evil teacher ( they used to address me so, but they're so wrong
you know I am such an innocent person :D ) is still alive...' Ain't it
fun! :P

A day off
Today's a national holiday so we have no school. I have got 3 packages
of potato chips since the concert ended...like what I planned earlier.
LOL~ no need to avoid eating heaty snacks anymore! I never worry about
keeping fit you know maybe for my being a vegatarian ( not a good
reason but, I don't mind. :D )
What else did I enjoy except munching chips...let me think. I finished
reading the novel 'The Da Vinci Code' by an American writer Dan Brown,
quite a big volumn. A Chinese teacher, who is also a colleague sitting
next to me, lent this book to me, 'hey you might be interested in this
story.' And yes it's fabulous and I did get attracted to the mysterious
plots and felt impressed by the numberous witty lines inside. ( I am
not to recite any from this book tho. *winks* )
Moreover, I watched some anime...and got :O oh my the female president
I mentioned on my last blog is a, *stunned* les. Well it's ok, just
didn't expect that previously. :P ( and what can I expect from an
anime? some entertainment that is. :D ) I wander what will happen in
the end--maybe Mai will marry the Reito Lord and become the Queen of
Darkness. LOL~ ( way too impossible I know. :P ) *yawning* I feel
sleepy during day time...

Rainy...Relaxing...it's Sat
*Yawns* didn't do much today. Why? Because it's Sat! But I should have
had more fun if it was not raining. *sobs* Lucky I am always the one
who keep thinking bright... 'no going out' = 'no wasting money' :D
That's why I stayed home most of the day. Beside mopping the floor, I
also watched some anime--Teacher's Time ep 9, My-Hime ep 21. The former is funny for it's quite opposite the situation is for me and my students. :P ( well come to think of my height that is. ) The latter one is interesting also...the president of students' committee is a Hime too! :O She's my favorite character in this anime, you know, smart, gentle, strong-minded...and able to make good tea. hehehe :P Finally I went out for a misosilu hot pot at dinner time, yummy~ woo :D

The concert & April Fools Day
Finally it's time to stand on the stage...light's very bright and I could even feel the heat ( what kind of lights they are I wonder...definitely unlike the lights we use at home. ) In fact I was not satisfied with my performace on the second song...but the others were fine. hehe The best is I could enjoy other musicans' performance...really enjoyed listening to the nocturnes of Chopin. But too bad he didn't play my favorite part of it. The music 'Peopel always pursue the rainbow' impressed me a lot. Yeah...I would never stop pursuing the most beautiful rainbow all of my life. After the concert we were about to leave, and happened to meet the prof in Music Department who played the cello. She told us her cello was more than 200 yrs old. Woo~ I felt very lucky that I got the chance to see such an antique musical instrument last night.
Then it's the April Fools Day. Guess there is this line printed on my face 'I'm so easy to get tricked' and they had a good laugh in class. So far I was fooled for 3 times. ( School hasn't ended for today while I am typing this blog. ) In the morning I went to class 803 and saw a boy student writing something about Math on the blackboard. The class leader asked me 'Why are you here? Our first class is Math.' I was really getting ... :O for a short while. That I forgot about my schedule and went to a wrong class happened before. So...err of course I finally entered the classroom and did my job. Then the second class was 804, where I am the homeroom teacher and they didn't seem interested in tricking me. But in the middle of the class, my cell phone rang. Sure I answered it and to my surprise it was from the Grade Coordinator. He went, 'Hurry to the class 803. You should be there teaching now.' I went really... @_@ what the. The second class today IS 804! So I told him, 'No, I am teaching 804. There must be something wrong.' Back to class I told my students that I thought today is really full of tricks! Fortunately I had a break...and nothing 'exciting' happened until 2 boy students came to my office and reported, 'Teacher, Sean and Joe are fighting in the classroom now!' Oh no...the 2 fought over something trifle only last week and got told off by me. Again! I went out of the office, proceeding to the classroom...and found the 2 boys were laughing hard behind me. -_- Erm... still got a couple of hours left for April 1st. *sobs in a dark corner* poor me... :P

Roses without thorns?
So life goes on. Being asked to attend a concert by our choir master, I had to practice with them on Tue evening again. And sure it's lots of fun walking in the rain...NOT. :P However, after the practice I sat in a friend's car since he lives near my place and he's kind enough to give me a ride. He seemed to be in a good mood and was humming some music from the musical Carmen. Heh I said if I should go get a rose then. That brought up the topic if some species of roses have no thorns. I don't think so, and neither does another friend of mine. The thing is I turned down his offer nicely when he suggested he would get me some roses without thorns. LOL~ Roses are beautiful for sure and they are my favorite flowers, you know. But the meaning this flower bears makes me hesitate to accept a bouquet of roses from a guy. :D
Students had their first periodical test these 2 days--yesterday and today. So we only had school for half a day...yay! :D I went have a nice hot pot for lunch yesterday, and today a science teacher who just retired not long ago ( very rich...) will treat me veggie steak for lunch. :D~ hehehe thanks a lot ( and I think one day I will find some chance to return the favor. ) One more thing, a student in grade 7 came give me some gifts which were bought by his bro. His bro was my student and graduated from this middle school in 2003. He couldn't study well because of some damage to his brain...but he's been good and glad to help after I kept encouraging him that time. Now he's working in a shopping centre ( he called me and told me so ) and I am happy to know things are getting well. I told the younger bro, 'Thanks so much, but tell your bro don't buy me gifts anymore. I would like him to save up his money. If he keeps wasting money like this I will get angry ok.' :P He just smiled and left my office.
The performance is this evening...I hope it won't be raining again. Since I will have to wear a long skirt tonight. :P

No EB...no more.
Recently I read some novel whose title is Winds With Voice. In fact there are 5 vols and I read them all...guess it's not that true when I said work's been hectic right. There was a part in vol. 4 impressed me most--it's the moment the leader of all the priests was to give a welcome ceremony to the priests-to-be in the big temple. He sang a song instead of giving any other sacrifice at the altar, and here are some parts of the lyrics:
When I glanced back,
I was the only one left here.
The long waiting
would not bring back the happiness in the past.
What's buried in my mind,
I don't know
if it's missing or something else.
I can't tell you that I live well.
If one can be strong,
then what can you call the feelings
beside sadness.
You are only left in my heart,
so I closed my eyes
and saw you
I don't know whether in the dream or memory
is eternity.
I open my eyes,
I don't know whether in the dream or memory
and you are alive.
Even if you don't come back anymore...
Let me catch your existence in the wind...
Can I...?
Something happened and I was at fault. Like what I used to say to my students, when we make mistakes, it's better to admit and try our best to amend what went wrong. Thus, I am sorry for what I did ( the EB stuff...didn't mean to but seems it's done for ages ) and some step must be taken to prevent some further harm. Hmm...too bad I have been so immature in some way, and the slang 'old habits die hard' applies perfectly. -_- Well...what else can I do? I apologize sincerely...and then move on. It's a...Fin.

Turning so cold
No wonder it's easy to get a cold recently. It started to rain heavily yesterday evening and moreover, we had continuous lightenings for quite a while! I was...wah :O...listening to the thunders while walking on the street and prayed I was not to be hit by any of them. :P Ended up the temperature dropped from 28 C (yesterday) to 13-18 C (today.) *trembling in the freezing spring wind* I am wrong to wear a short skirt today I guess. :D
Students won't have fun at Movie Club until they have their mid-term next week. *chuckles* But I am not to be limited for sure. I just watched some Gigli, which some said it's lame ( on newspaper or magazines you can always see comments bout movies. :P ) I think it's ok since Ben and Jennifer look not too bad, both looks and figures I mean. I will finish it when I have some more free time later during break. But have to grade year 9 students' tests first--sort of boring work lucky I am used to that. :D

I will finish it when I have some more free time later during break. But have to grade year 9 students' tests first--sort of boring work lucky I am used to that. :D

To or not to
I got a phone call from choir master a few days ago and was asked to attend a performance at the end of this month. Well...the reason I didn't go there singing is our practicing on Thur evening kind of disturb my schedule--it always ends around 10 p.m. and then my bed time will be surely delayed. Worse, when my bed time's shortened I'd become grumpy too ( the number one factor to make me grumpy is my being hungry...) That's why I hesitated at first while talking with the choir master. She explained to me what an important occasion that will be so she needs me to help with the choir; I finally got urm...ok then. It must be the dark side of my personality: although I agree to help, that doesn't mean I would stop complaining. Thus, last night when I was finding the scripts needed for the performance, my family had a good time listening to my mumbling: I'm gonna regret, yes...I am gonna regret that I promised I would help... :P
And another bad news. Really didn't expect I would get sms from that martin guy after telling him I have been in a stable relationship. ( altho I don't have any serious relationship with any guy but the Lord :D ) Astounded enough to find there's a message received in my lovely degree 3 cell phone! *blinks* Tell me what I shall do if I just can't slap that sucker in the face ( since I wouldn't like to waste my precious time and energy on him. ) The final solution was switch it off and pity...let it expire this June. *sobs* The # is good...but I got to give it up ( previously I thought I could keep it if the mushy sms would not come anymore. ) See? Being too optimistic is never good. :P
The sun shines...I have no OT since this Mon. *yawns* I brought my little NB and enjoys my break time typing this blog, chatting, and soon it's lunch time. *yawnsssssssss* LOL~ I have 2 classes this afternoon. guess I'd better stop right here. :D

Done
Heh this week is almost over ( so we call it 'weekend' ah bu hao xiao
:P ) and I finally have the feeling that I can relax for a bit.
Normally we homeroom teachers don't have as many classes as subject
teachers, for we got to deal with not only students' problems but also
parents'. Sometimes it's just a cinch but somehow you might have to
cope with very troublesome ones. Like the homeroom teacher sitting on
my right in the office. There's a hyperactive boy in her class and she
has to talk with his dad from time to time. It seemed that the single
dad would like to chase the beautiful and kind-hearted teacher--how
convenient if he was successful; the boy could have a nice homeroom
teacher at school and a good step mom after school. LOL~ too bad I must
say nothing is perfect, ended up she must tell them she's already
married and the boy told her how disappointed his dad got. :P
I really think Taiwanese guys are much smarter...or most guys are? :D
They know clearly they should pursue females who had better get a good
career ( to support family ) and good personality ( to take care of
family, won't run away when others are sick or in need. ) Of course if
the famales have pretty looks and figures, woo~ wonderful isn't it. Big
bonus! So I wish the single dad good luck. :P
This Wed I took students to Bei Tou for a field trip, visited some
scenic spots which are well-known for hot springs. The guide in Bei Tou
Hot Spring Museum gave us a lecture and now then I know we have 3 kinds
of hot spring in TW. Sorry I am too lazy to check the English terms for
them. Students were amazed when we went to a lake by the mountains and
saw the hot water under...no more chance to enjoy your life on earth if
you fall into the water like a dumpling. By the way I must say I am
grateful for the 2 moms' help. They went along with us and gave me a
hand when students got naughty--yeah we always have to discipline kids.
:P Furthermore I told my students if they dared to complain they would
NEVER have to go for their graduation trip with me in the future ( this
Sep prolly.) They can save up their 4000 NT and stay home for 3 days
since I don't want kids ( in fact they are teens in year 9 ) who don't
listen to me. LOL~ Poor students right? So bad the homeroom teacher
is! :P Let me tell you...every time when I held them an activity, no
one was absent, so far. :P
Ok here comes the weekend. I hope to rest more and have enough free
time for myself. You know I didn't stop working OT since the beginning
of this new school term until this Fri ( yesterday.) If they didn't
stop it I would be the next who had to take a medical leave!
Anyway...wish you guys, and myself...a happy and peaceful weekend!

Got a gift :P
Yeah I was teaching in a year 9 class. This week is supposed to be the
final countdown heh. :P The boy who sits near the platform the most
gave me a card in class. It's from Fullmetal Alchemist--on that card is
the main character, Edward Elric. LOL~ I can never forget his facial
expression when I mentioned this anime once... :P He could never have a
thought that the teachers here would know bout manga and anime. *sighs*
I started to read manga since my childhood ok. Why? Because my grandma owned a store which sold some candy and cookies to kids, and also there
were comic books for kids to rent. Yeah yeah I know I was lucky--free
snacks and never need to pay for reading right. :P
A colleague asked me to go looking around in the market nearby during
our break. I said ok ( ignored the pile of students' homework to be
graded :D ) and had some fun. Not really shopping tho, for I don't
wanna spend money for useless items. Well it ended up getting some
bananas ( 25 NT for 600 g ) and bell fruit ( more expensive--70 NT. )
Hmm not a waste if they are good for health. :P Tomorrow will be
busier! 2 classes for OT...and take students to Bei Tou for a field
trip. I know it's more hardworking than staying in the classroom
lecturing, but...they have done something good and I promised that they
will be rewarded a 'trip'. So...had better sleep enough, and must
remember to bring the better digi cam! :P

A not blue but busy Mondy
Some events for today. *yawns* Ah my shoulders are sore again. It's
Sammie's birthday and he asked me for candy couple of days ago. So...in
class I went over and gave him the bday candy--woo a happy boy's
smiling face's so cute! ^^ I had 4 classes this morning, and in the
afternoon I went attend a funeral with some colleagues. Our principal
went too. Now they use powerpoint to show the person's photos in the
'farewell hall' ( not sure what to call such a situation tho. ) I
didn't cry but felt tears in my eyes...then, I went back to school to
have the 8th class. And saw the gal student, who ran away from home and
didn't come to school for a few weeks, and her mom. Well well...I must
say it's not so easy to get my approval that easily. Once a student
decided to leave school without a second thought...he/she had better
prepare to see my 'bad face colour' and listen to some 'wise ( I doubt)
but not-so-cheerful ( that I have no doubt )' words from me when he/she
would like to beg me to let him/her study in my class again. *smiles
coldly* Why I don't let it go easily? Since the other students are
watching--woo teacher's so kind that she wouldn't mind our leaving
school anytime; she'll always let us in anytime we wanna come back so
we don't need to worry and just skip classes as much as we'd like to
heh! Sorry I am not this kind of easy-going person in my field. :D I
work hard enough and then get what I want in life. So I am nice to
kids...but not that nice in some way. ( In fact I never let any ex of
mine come back to my life again either...MY BAD! :P )

The third week's coming :D
Woo and now I finished 2 weeks big OT! hehehe It's getting smoother
in class since students are used to my style--they have known me
better and both parties, the teacher and the students, can have a
good time together. When we are joking, I used to say, 'oh it's my
pleasure to hurt an innocent student's heart!' And they pretty much
have the feedback, 'how come time doesn't fly...she's still teaching
in our class!' LOL~ Then I praise them like, 'wow good you guys did
learn from my talent oh I am such a successful teacher...*claps*' :P
In fact English is never an easy subject for Taiwanese students (
including the me before...*sighs* ) so it's necessary to creat a
happy circumstance to boost the learning. ( How come my English
teachers were not like me tho :/ )
Something 'bad' happened as well. ( Life is never perfect right. ) I
switched on the degree 3 cell phone to check if the battery's run
out. And not long after that I got that Martin's sms! @_@ I must say
he's more 'never give up' than me?? :P Let me translate the content:
' I told you I love you so many times, but you still keep quiet.
It's just like one-way loving...I have no idea when I can get your
passionate reply? I wish you happiness on White Lovers' Day.' Urm...
*chuckles* Too bad isn't it. I did have good impression for him when
we chatted on the phone last year the first few times. The thing is
he's dumb enough to do something nasty on the 'dates' ( I really
don't wanna call the going out watch a movie and have a meal 'dates'
tho! ) One's chances can be easily ruined by one's carelessness may
I say so? :P I don't mind staying single and, to be honest, it's
fine with me--I am able to enjoy my loneliness. :) Walking on the
street alone, I would look at the azure sky when the weather is
nice, or I would feel the coldness of rain on my cheeks when the
weather god's moody. Then I feel all's good and quiet, altho there
are other passengers and vehicles around...heh.
And of course interesting events come to me from time to time but,
but I am too lazy to record them all. :P Like a boy student's 60 NT
request after class... LOL~ well NO GOOD to say it I guess. OK it's
Sunday morning, cold and cloudy! Got so much to do...( to turn off
the celly is the first! :P ) Happy weekend hehe :D

Gone the first week
Like what I said...I have been working like crazy due to a teacher's
miscarriage--got to take over her duty and teach another class in grade
9. Luckily they are all obedient to me. ( Am I that bad? :D ) And they
seem happy in class... ( The candy tactic works that well? :P ) However
life goes on; more and more problems for me to solve. Some gal ran away
from home at midnight after she heard her dad saying something like,
'That bad gal doesn't deserve to stay home!' Of course she didn't come
to school ever since. -_- Her mom came to school and talked with me for
a while, telling me her daughter might be neglected because her giving
birth to the third kid. ( My gal student is the second. ) Well...isn't
it common when a family has a younger child. *sighs* I can only say,
there are many different ways to get mature--some want it hard tho.
Another problem is some boy students dare to gamble in the classroom.
Of course they wouldn't let me know, but a boy owed another boy 500 NT
( he has paid maybe a few thousand NT dollars. ) Her mom found that
he's short of pocket money and then the son told her the truth. Sure I
am angry but I promise the mom that I won't mention her son's name when
I deal with this tomorrow. She is worried other boy students may take
revenge on his revelation. Those who don't wanna pay attention on
studies at school will surely find some other stuff to play with, to
kill time. And that's why I am paid to be a homeroom teacher--my
responsibility to discipline them! They will have a wonderful time I
bet... Anyway, 2 weeks left for the OT. I will take good care of
myself, and you guys too. :)

228 Memorial Day
Due to it's a memorial day on Feb 28th, we don't need to work today. hehe rarely can we sleep in on Monday. ahh something happened last night before I went to bed. I got a phone call from the bank, credit card servcie centre, and was told something wrong with my receipt. We'll get 2 receipts after we purchase by credit cards. I am used to checking the total amount before I sign the receipt for credit card. And it's the other receipt we called it tong yi fa piao here in Taiwan which went wrong. The contact lenses I bought are 1100 NT, but the clerk typed it 110000 NT! @_@ The lady called me and apologized to me. They got to get it back otherwise the store'd be in big trouble. So I told her my address and met her understairs in my going-to-bed dress. She said sorry again and gave me a Johnson&Johnson bath gel for the incident that caused some trouble for me. :P
So...it's the last day of this only once long weekend for this semester. I'll be working like crazy from tomorrow onwards--to take over others duty. I am sure I will have not much energy left then. Anyway...got to sleep earlier for my health.

Second day, sun day...not
Sunday...no sun but a lot of rain. The rain did stop for a short while and it was sunny maybe for a few minutes. Then it started raining again...and don't think it will stop tonight. I remember I read a sci-fi ages ago. Some people were walking on a strange planet; their mission might be explore or visit there. Due to some reasons, you cannot see the sun on the planet and the rain would never stop. So the explorers were eager to find some buildings in which they could take a rest and it said there was an artificial sun high above the building to provide the necessary light and warmth. They were all tired, and then they found a building in front. All were happy but soon turned very disappointed after they entered it--this one was already ruined. Everywhere's leaking...of course no light or warmth. Some of them went mad, and ended up rushing into the rain without any protection and died for such rain was poisonous due to wars and stuff. And some committed suicide because of being too tired to continue the seem-to-be endless searching for a shelter. Those who remained rational still kept looking for their destination--and they finally reached it, couldn't wait to enjoy the warm and bright...altho artificial sunlight. hehehe must be I miss the nice weather too much right.
And my 'never give up' nature worked again. Yesterday I failed in making my hotmail more capacity...and this morning I gave it a try once more. This time I paid more attention, and followed the instructions step by step. Yes! It's not 2 MB anymore, but 25 MB! LOL~ I was glad to have such a personality, you know. :P Altho sometimes I make others misunderstand what I mean...life is somehow full of ambiguity isn't it. Trying to noodle it out is not bad, but I would like it gentle since I really don't wanna make my life harder--it's difficult enough for me. :)

First day of my long weekend
It is the first day of my long weekend. And no, it's not much fun since it's been rainy all day...for a few days already. I went out to have a hot pot for lunch and then stayed in the Kingstone Bookstore for a while--did some purchasing as well. Spent most of the time home. A friend from Canada told me he moved to the new house and had no net there for around a month. No wonder I didn't see him online for such a long time...it takes time to tide up the house I think. He asked me what I did during the Chinese New Year--lucky I keep a blog right? :P I might not be able to remember it all without leaving some record...He also showed me a site which you can use some tools and tests there for free and know about your puters speed. Fun...not. It's sad to know mine comparing to his...*sobs*
My boy student Ricky emailed me the way to make the hotmail box more capacity--25MB first then 250 MB. You know it's only 2 MB for ppl in TW--unfair huh. *shrugs* well too much to complain if I was to count what is unfair in life. :P The point is I was curious ( as usual ) and I did take lots of time, wanna get it done--by changing my nationality to USA and chose to live in Florida LOL~ and oh no, it's still 2 MB! I gave up after trying a couple of times and went offline to read something else. Later on I came online and something unhappy happened because of my poor knowledge about some English terms. I really feel sorry for that...and hope that friend can tolerate my misuse of words and phrases sometimes. And maybe I was kidding too much. In fact I don't mean I am not serious all the time--to be opposite, being a Capricorn, I am supposed to get very serious and stubborn right. But I found it easier to live in such a boring world if I kept my attitude this way...joking around, sometimes also. Hmm...maybe I am not as happy as I look like? Altho I keep on telling myself to think bright...never give up my life...*sighs* still rainy days.

A long weekend
Since this school term started last Mon I have got 4 notices for taking over other teachers' duties. Some took medical leave; others for other reasons but I am not informed--usually they wouldn't inform you except you go ask them in a stunning voice, 'WHAT! HOW COME I HAVE TO TAKE OVER HIS/HER DUTY!' :P Sure I am kidding ( as usual too. ) Today I got the notice again, and this time it's because of that teacher's miscarriage...I have been working like crazy for 2 weeks. Guess I will be more crazy after this long weekend--got 6 extra classes for my schedule! And it'll last for 3 weeks...I dare not imagine what my facial expression will be like after work then. But I surely will take good care of myself by going to bed earlier, eat better ( well I think I deserve it and I'll get extra pay hehehe ) and take some more exercise ( using the rod more on students maybe? ) LOL~ j/k!
As for the weather forecast, we will still have lots of rain in the near future. That brings me the pleasure of getting the water out of my Justy every morning--try to picture it: a lady dressed well enough to work is busy squeezing a towel from time to time ( and trust me the water wouldn't be anyhow clean. ) -_- yeah yeah I know. I should take my car to be fixed, but it's so crowded recently...and I don't wanna wait for long. Ahh rainy days...who's gonna smile?

Being sick
Hmm I don't mind taking over other teachers' duty altho some of my colleagues do. They think they have enough work and don't wanna burden themselves with extra classes, which mean extra pay you know. But after OT this morning I started to feel sick, feeling so tired even it's only 11 a.m. and still got 2 classes ( one for OT ) in the afternoon. Moreover, I got a headache after lunch...and the nap in the classroom didn't anyhow help. Maybe the weather is really bad recently. It said 12 people died of coldness so far after the strong coldfront's approaching Taiwan. I don't think I will be the 13th ( since I don't feel I have this good luck to leave for nirvana...trust me if I can I will happily say goodbye to this world right away. ) Off duty, the headache didn't ease; to the opposite, it becomes worse and I couldn't even eat dinner properly. So I went take a rest again, on the bed, and a while later I felt a bit better...still hurts on the left side tho. Dad said the weather will be good tomorrow, and asked me if I would like to go for Lantern Festival at CKS Memorial Hall. Too bad...don't think I will have enough energy after more OT tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Anyway...I feel it all weird because I can't even smile to people now. I should go hit my bed early tonight I think.

Cold Rainy Monday
Seems it has been like this for couple of days...rainy all day, and
freezing. I should have got Justy fixed earlier tho, and it still has
the problem of leaking--means I got to use a towel to soak the water
under the driver's seat and squeeze the water out and then again, and
again, till I can put my feet there without being in a swimming mode.
-_-
No kidding, I had to work today in my leather jacket, which I bought
ages ago and didn't wear it often. But I just couldn't take it off
until I was home again this evening. Oh of course my lovely heater is
blowing warm wind beside me when I am typing this monologue. I am
grateful for those handy appliances in life... :D Since no 8th class
so far, I could drove back home by 4 p.m. and then I decided to check
the movie Howl's Moving Castle. Woo it's very nice...even the English
sub goes very well...perfect timing! Thanks a lot for my good friend's
sharing them with me. Watching the movie and listening to the beautiful
music, I was kind of...in a deep romantic mood, just like what I felt
while watching it in the cinema. But where is my magician? guess I
would never know... :)

Valentine's Day 2005
So I didn't get any chocolate at school on Valentine's Day, but made
fun of myself in an American channel because of my lack of knowledge
about English puns and slangs. LOL~ But I should feel lucky I guess
since friends there don't mind telling me what the terms mean ( they
might laugh behind later tho. :P ) At least I provided them some
entertainment for Valentine's. *sighs* :P
There will be a 'Review Test' this Thur and Fri. Jenny complained to me
her bday is on Thur and she doesn't think it's anyhow fun then. I told
her, 'why you can still celebrate with your family and friends as
well!' But she seemed depressed...hehehe~ I have prepared a cute
present for her but I won't tell her until that day for sure. I will
sing loudly, 'ZHU! ni sheng ri quai le...' ( it's just like the happy
birthday song but got different stress on the very syllable :P )
Another thing that stimulate my passion for teaching again was, Simon (
a boy who doesn't seem to like me a lot from his behavior in class )
came up and gave me one piece of chocolate. He said, 'urm it's from bei
hai dao ( the north of Japan, I think it's a much bigger island than
Taiwan. ) I was...very touched. :) Some parent gave me a box of candy
and there were 40 pieces inside. So I brought it for my students and they all enjoyed it ( of course the candy is brand name one :P not crap from a stand in a traditional market. ) Therefore, I think I can say we all had a happy Valentine's Day here. I hope my friends, wherever you are, had a good time as well. If not don't be down! Never give up, and there's always another Valentine's you know! :D

School starts again...on Valentine's Day :P
I'll start working again tomorrow--a new school term! Our winter break is over, 3 weeks. To be honest, 2 weeks since the third week is our lunar new year holidays, which shouldn't be counted as winter break right. *shrugs* I don't mind but students do. :P They have a lot of homework for this winter break, poor them! I was the one who objected this idea in our meeting when the boss insisted on giving students more than enough to write during winter break. hehehe~ Of course I didn't win. :P But at least I've tried my best for them. It's Taiwan's big problem...depress kids too much when they are young. Then not many wanna do studies hard when they are older...so, we have the most homework, and the least Nobel prizers. :D
Oh lucky it's only my monologue...my boss, the principal won't read this. I think I had a wonderful time in the past 3 weeks. You guys see some photos already. And I went to Taipei Main Station to see the lantern exhibition. Some are cute! I took pics there and later I'll upload here for you. :D The last holiday for Lunar New Year is the 15th day, called Lantern Festival. My family and I used to attend it at CKS Memorial Hall every year and enjoyed watching many beautiful lanterns. See if the weather is fine this year. ( Today it's rainy and cold. -_- )
So I am back to the 'working mode'! I will work like crazy again from tomorrow onwards, and more mula will be rolling in! :D Tomorrow happens to be Valentine's Day. Too bad I have no bf or lover--no need to buy chocolate then. LOL~ See if I will get chocolate then. :P
