Everyone here knows that September 28 is Confucius’ Birthday, and it is also Teacher’s Day. That is why I got some cards from students.
I like this one most…of course because of that wawa-like cat!
We Chinese always respect our teachers.
Hmm wish I could have a cake…too bad I still need to work on Teacher’s Day!
My good friend took me to the restaurant near Danshui River again.
We have dinner this time. This was taken in the parking lot. It was getting darker.
On our way to the restaurant, beautiful decoration…
A cute yellow kitten in the yard—his meow meow was loud and clear…
Clear enough to express what he wanted. Thus I treated him some snack.
Ok…my turn to be treated. They have nice vegetarian meals.
A nice candle-lit dinner—romantic indeed!
My main course—the seaweed in the middle looks like a spider isn’t it
Jelly soup—it is called “ai yu” in mandarin
Redbean cake for my snack
Coffee—lucky it did not affect my sleep
Popcorn—guess many restaurant do not serve this during dinner time
Stone lotus with honey—they said it is good for the stomach
Looking through the window—what a nice view!
After we had dinner, it was raining hard as my friend drove. There was something wrong with his windscreen wipers. I suggested he had better find a store and replace them since the rain was really heavy. He drove to a shopping center and then got these. They cost around 400 NT.
I must say it was a wonderful Teacher’s Day although the weather was not that good. Hope all teachers in this world have a good time too! ^_^
