Beautiful sunset

多久沒有看見美麗的夕陽了呢？走在路上，心情好好喔！今天晴
天...難得不用上第八節課，我可以在路上晃，看到又大又圓的夕
陽真是感動..說真的，大自然的美景是看不膩的。

下午開了三個鐘頭的會，而且也順利報告完畢了，教學策略還真
多樣呢，校方也送我一本書，一張和教學有關的光碟，還有最好
的，一杯 Starbucks 的 latte，哈哈，校長還在結尾時提到我，
真拍謝，原因是班上有個問題學生，早上校長還講他幾句，然後
快中午時遇到我，當時本小姐沒課，正從外面買了珍珠奶茶回學
校...校長呢就在一樓，我心想這下是要請校長喝一杯還是不用，
然後就一面內心掙扎一面聊起來，最後校長說：這學生給妳添了
很多困擾，很麻煩吧！我回答不會我不覺得，因為我很喜歡教書
這個工作。(雖然錢不太多也不太自由啦！只有寒暑假才能出國，
這點我沒講就是)

氣象局說要到星期五才會再下雨，所以明天又會是美好的晴天！*

Being sick

I guess it's because of the weather...got a cold, and
couldn't help sneezing and of course had a running nose
this morning. Then I tried to swap classes with my
colleague so I could be off duty earlier. But failed.
Ended up driving back home to rest for 2 hours this
afternoon after watching kids nap. And drove to school to
teach the 8th session. *chuckles* see, even if I would
give up earning more, the Lord didn't allow me to. Anyway
I put on more clothes and seems I'm getting better. Need
to hit my pillow by 9:30 p.m. though.

Kind of know how come I am getting weak these days--it
happens every month when 'that' is to come. It is the
biggest problem for me ( maybe some other women too ) and
you know we might have serious PMS...yes. No need to tell
me. It's pretty troublesome! Too bad I have to bear with
such for quite a while in my life.

Poor kids

這兩天電視新聞都有播出死亡的消息，一位是舞蹈家羅小姐，死
於肺癌，她的一生精彩，相信在藝術領域永遠都有她的地位。另
外兩位是名不見經傳的男士，一位因被檢方懷疑有殺妻及破壞鐵
軌而上吊，另一位是台鐵剪票員過鐵軌時被撞身亡。他們沒有羅
小姐的名氣，相信新聞播個幾天之後就會永遠把他們遺忘，可是
我卻更同情這兩位的家庭，都是還有年幼孩子的人，叫小朋友們
以後怎麼辦呢？錢就算沒問題拿到一些賠償，他們在成長過程中
會很辛苦。尤其是李先生，太太走了，就應該看在孩子的份上，
怎樣也給他撐下去...我想，那些孩子的級任導師也真...有些東
西是我們老師給不起的。沒有子女的就算了，有了孩子不要輕易
地掛掉啊！生了一定要負責養大，教育界可以幫忙教，沒辦法幫
忙養啊... =_=

A nice boss

To celebrate my getting extra pay today, I went have a hot pot for dinner around 6 p.m. You guys know I am a vegetarian, and so does the boss--I don't even need to tell him what kind of hot pot I would like to get. What made it special for this evening was he said he noticed that I didn't really finish the 'fake meat', which is made of soy beans or mushrooms, every time I ate there. He then suggested he gave me some more vegetables and dried flat tofu instead. Woo I like them both! Ended up eating so much...ahh too full. Didn't even have enough room for ice cream and jelly made of tea! *sighs* Need to get some exercise or cut down snack later on.

My best friend WW is already in Vancouver now. No idea if she has jet lag...hehehe I guess I'll talk to her soon on Skype. Too bad I can't pay her a visit this summer since I plan to visit other countries. Hmm...the weather is not good recently. *chuckles* who cares. I still enjoy the weekend, and hopt you guys do too. ^_^

Extra pay makes my day

雖然下雨，又冷，還是蠻不錯的一天，我終於看到學校的通知，
說寒假輔導費明天入帳。沒錯，你的眼睛沒有問題，寒假早就過
了，現在開學第六週！七早八早跟學生收錢，卻拖拖拉拉才付薪
水給老師，真不乾脆吼！算了，我想，總比有些人工作最後還拿
不到錢強。

昨天我拿垃圾出去倒時，有個同一棟樓的先生比我先倒好，就走
在我面前，然後把大門關起來，我只好請家人再幫我打開，想說
平時同一棟的鄰居都會先看看，如果還有人在倒垃圾就不會關門
，最後一個進來的關是我們的默契。那個先生人怪怪的！有一回
中午我走在路上碰到他，他就要請我一起吃午餐，當然我才不去
！只要老婆在他旁邊他就一句話也沒有，不然都要想盡辦法聊個
幾句，煩...他怎麼樣來煩我都不理他！

我的交友原則是：已婚或有女朋友的男人根本不要碰。要請吃飯
？可以...另一半也來吧！(這招是我爸媽教我的) 今天社會問題
有夠多，單身的我才不想因這些頭腦不清的男人，在社會版多添
一筆爛帳...呵呵。說真的，單身的好男人又不是沒有，就像我朋
友常提的：a lot of fish in the sea. 何必介入別人的關係中
呢？

She's gone

WW left Taipei for Vancouver today. No I don't feel
bad, since I always think it's great to
have friends in other countries, you know. Then I can
have good excuses to go pay my friend in the foreign
country a visit. Her husband is still staying in Taiwan
for serveral days--no worries he can speak a little
Mandarine. I don't need to help him when his wife's not
around then. hehehe :P

As for events at school, we had an exhibition in our
library this afternoon. The best was some pop stars came
and you know what...I didn't recognize them at first.
Students took their cell phones out and started to take
pics, and then I was wondering how come. Finally I found
them--they starred in some well-known series ( ex. 紫禁之
巔 ) and I pretty much liked the handsome boy Jr. That's
why when a colleague suggested she could take a pic of us
I immediately nodded and stood between the 2 gorgeous
guys. Students were so jealous of me!! LOL I will upload
the photo as soon as my colleague emails it to me.

Nice Japanese dishes

昨天去吃日本料理，價格不便宜，但是我的好友及她的加拿大老
公都讚不絕口。明天她就回溫哥華去了，還好現在MSN及SKYPE很
方便，要不然八卦少了她多無聊啊！(可見本人也是蠻無聊滴...)
今天學校很輕鬆，段考進度早上完了，又不用代課，下午有個朋
友來訪，我當然是很高興囉！順便請吃飯，呵呵，我看這陣子吃
吃喝喝又沒什麼運動，要小心穿不了短裙小洋裝啦！

A wonderful reunion

The reunion yesterday was terrific! I met WW at Zhongshan
MRT station and then the other ex-classmates at Danshui.
Our class leader Tina took us to a cool restaurant
located near the Danshui River. Thus we could have lunch
and watched the beautiful scenery in there. They asked WW
how she met her Canadian hubby and how her life is in
Vancouver. She told them the story ( of course I knew
about it ages ago hehehe ) and then everyone thought I
should follow the pattern to find myself a western
husband. :P Interesting. Yeah I know western culture is
more easy-going when it comes to marriage. In Taiwan, if
a girl is to get married, it's like she's going to marry
a whole family ( the future husband's family. ) Life will
be more complicated since the guy's parents and relatives
will bother this couple. Maybe not all of the Taiwanese
here, but most do. That's why I always hear my friends or
colleagues complain about their problems that result from
their 'loving' in-laws' troubling them too much.

That's why I told WW when we were on the MRT after the
happy reunion: we shouldn't bother our offspring a lot
when we get old. We can shout them nice meals if we wanna
see them sometimes, and give them presents ( red
envelopes are our favorite! ) By then we should be rich
enough and are able to live a wonderful life. Both WW and
me work diligently and we don't really need to buy brand
name stuff, like LV bags or Channel cosmetics. Our
attitude is pragmatic toward life--money is very
important. If I can marry a good guy, I will be happy. If
I cannot find a nice guy to get married with, I will
still have a life ( and lots of money hehehe...)

Didn't eat well

My best friend WW's hubby arrived in Taipei today, so I
wanna shout them dinner at a nice veggie restaurant. WW
and me had meals there quite a few times and both of us
enjoyed their dishes--beautiful and delicious. But
something 'tragic' happened this time--WW's hubby is
allergic to food which contains peanuts. He's so sesitive
that he had serious allergy after he got a small piece of
white stuff ( I thought that was tofu, but WW said it's
made of peanuts. ) Ended up he gotta hurried to buy some
medicine and couldn't enjoy most of the dishes in there.
Too bad...most Taiwanese do not have such a problem.
Sometimes we hear people would be terribly sick because
they got some broad beans. Most Taiwanese love
peanuts...good smell, rich in protein and fat, you know.
I felt very sorry for WW's hubby and I told them I would
treat them Japanese meal ( his favorite ) next Monday
evening to compensate for his loss tonight. After he's
getting better we chatted happily ( I didn't speak a lot
of English since he's quite talktive! ) And took some
pictures together. I hope the couple can have a wonderful
time in Taipei these days.

Happy to get my new passport

Great to have a little digi cam handy ain't it. I got my passport and took this pic...plan to take a trip! Heh today is White Day, Lovers Day also. Well...being single, and too bad I have no date now. hehehe means I can have lots of fun somewhere else?

My best friend's back

So happy my best friend ww came back to Taiwan from
Vancouver. I will spend some time hanging out with her
from tomorrow onwards. Gotta shout her a nice meal at the
famous veggie restaurant and then go shopping together.
We will attend a reunion too...great to meet our ex-
classmates again! :D

These days I have more activities since I gotta know some
new friends. Sometimes I feel too busy...@_@ of course
friends are like books, just like the line in a Chinese
book. They bring us different kinds of ideas and make our
lives more interesting. hehehe you agree with me right.
Anyway I had a happy weekend, and I wanna thank my
friends...they are so nice! I wish them all good luck. =^^=

Sweated a lot

Had a wonderful time today. Just like what I said a few days ago...exercise is great for our health both physically and mentally. The side effect is my thighs are weak now...cannot walk too much now. Lucky it's Saturday. I don't feel like exhausting myself on Sunday since I will have no energy to deal with those naughty teens. Talking about work, I got a phone call from school last night. They told me to take over my colleague's duty from next Monday onwards...for 6 days. I was like :O and asked him what went wrong with her. What?? Cannot speak at all since this Friday...@_@ oh my that is the worst condition for teachers! Sure I will help her--it means I will have to OT for 6 days. $_$ good...

天氣非常好，
孩子們有遠見啊！
昨天表決全班穿短袖滴襯衫，
今天把畢冊的個人生活照拍好了。
導師當然也拍囉！
他們說我今天穿的粉紅色背心很可愛，
謝謝啦！我是覺得笑得有點不自然，
啊不管了，反正主角是那群少男少女。
希望這兩天的天氣都不錯，
要出去走走看看青山呢！

Will be very busy ^_^

The weather's real changeable...in the morning it's cold
and foggy, but sunny and warm this afternoon. Some
students came over to say they thought my purple skirt
was cute, and so were my boots ( rimmed with some fake
fur.) Thanks. But I will have to wear something brighter
tomorrow...since we all gotta be taken pictures for our
school year book. For students' sake, you know...me,
their homeroom teacher, will try my best to look super
pretty! >:D
Moreover I will be very busy this weekend...from Friday
evening onwards. Some friend asked me out and I said ok.
Usually I would sleep not so early on Friday night--no
school next day! On Saturday another friend asked me to
visit a place in Taipei county, where I've never been
there. Free vegetaraian lunch, I must say it is what
attracts me most...*sobs* So easy to allure me? :P

今天是38婦女節，雖然沒有放假一天，辦公室的男同事都有祝我
們快樂啦！還有小禮一份，價值不高，心意可貴就是。呵呵，坐
在我隔壁的學姊說她老公還想蒙混過去：婦女節已和兒童節合併
為婦幼節了。但是學姊堅持要過38,那也沒辦法。哈哈，單身的我
就不必了，有人送巧克力倒是不錯...反正我很瘦(別人說的，我
是覺得OK啦！)就趁新鮮把它吃了。 :D~
忙了一整天，還陪問題學生的家長去拜碼頭，好辛苦...但比起寫
中輟報告，我寧願跑一跑和校長及各處室主任談，總算談好了感
謝啊...今天還真累。我要早點休息才行... ZZZzzz

Be treated

A colleague who teaches Chinese shouted me lunch at Stay
Cafe. My veggie meal cost 220 NT...guess it is ok. It's
getting a bit cold, not like yesterday. It was sunny and
hot. We have a slang in Chinese: The weather in spring is
like a step mom's facial expression, which means it
changes very fast. Tomorrow is Women's Day. *sighs* Too
bad we females still have to work. Ah I am used to that.
Hmm feeling a bit sleepy...being busy these days. I need
to sleep earlier.

Had a good time

Had a pretty good sleep last night...maybe because of my
taking enough exercise earlier in the evening. To my
surprise, my headache was gone--yes you can say it again
people need to get exercise to keep healthy! ( both
mentally and physically *nods* ) Besides I had fun
walking around Ximending with some friend, window
shopping only since we didn't buy anything at all. The
most interesting was we found we might be the oldest
customers after we sat down in the restaurant where we
were to have dinner. LOL He said it was possible I would
see students here. I then replied, "They would be scared
to be found by me here...'how come you guys don't stay
home to study for CBT but wander in Ximending huh!' you
know."

It was sunny and warm...a nice Saturday. Today, hmm looks
cloudy. Anyway, wish everyone a wonderful time no matter
where you are.

Got a headache and weird dreams

一早起來就看見陽光，真好！
不過我的頭痛死了，
活該... 昨天晚上太晚睡的代價啦！
誰叫我自己多嘴長舌不早點兒睡，
還做了一堆怪夢...
其中有一段是我被一個男人追趕，
我不知道他是誰，
一張陌生的臉，
他緊追不捨，
甚至到我跑進那棟建築物，
躲到一間女子三溫暖的烤箱裡，
他也只穿一件跑進來... =_=
我躲在門後等他進來再跑出去，
把門用力關上不給他出來...

是工作壓力太大嗎！

烤地瓜

辦公室有個大哥把家裡的鍋寶旋風烤箱帶來，
而且非常勤快的洗刷地瓜放進去烤...
所以我們只出一點小錢買了一袋，
就天天吃又香又甜的烤地瓜囉！
連學生都聞香而來，
"我們也想吃..."
hahahaha >:D
週末又來臨了，
同事上網查氣象，
說明天會開始下雨...
@_@ 真是...

Cold and dry in Taipei

其實還不錯啦！
至少沒下雨，就是冷。
所以呢，等一下中午沒課時，我就要...
呵呵...就要和姊妹團一起去吃火鍋！
平時有打八折，我的素鍋還是要200左右。
為什麼吃青菜的比吃肉的還貴！
真是...算了，還是要吃滴... :D~
