Butterfly Effect

So I went to bed earlier last night. :D It’s nice that I didn’t feel sleepy at school. We teachers can stay in our offices and take a nap if we are sleepy—it’s allowed, you know. Once my friend working in another country told me it’s not allowed for them to nap in the office. I kind of…err…you know, felt ‘ woo~ lucky, I work here!’ And in class we watched the first VCD for The Butterfly Effect, which is not too bad, in fact…some interesting point of views there. People would rather forget about something too tragic for their minds? Yeah I think so… We will finish watching the second VCD, and then can discuss it in our class meeting tomorrow afternoon. Sometimes those kids inspire me, and I do think the Chinese saying ‘jiao4 xue2 xiang1 zhang3’ ( You also learn something while you teach others. ) is correct.

In the evening I went out for food shopping at a supermarket nearby. They have ice cream and bing1 bang4 on sale! So…I took my handbag and happily walked out…and…it started to rain ( not heavily ) on my way to the supermarket. Well, to be or not to be? Pondering for a while, the desire to get tasty snacks won. I got what I would like—lemon flavored potato chips, watermelon bing1 bang4 ( what’s the English term ), pudding bing1 bang4, honey milk jelly… oh yeah and a pair of rubber glove, 2 packs of cat food—can feed xixi, a cute stray cat in the neighborhood. 302 NT paid, I carried 2 bags happily and found…err the rain’s getting a bit heavier. Ok then. I remember the poem Walking In The Blue Rain, so I walked in a very romantic mood…slowly on the street in Taipei. Hahahaha~ :P In fact it’s acid rain here. I went take a shower as soon as I got home. Life is peaceful again after I made up my mind earlier to live a nun’s life. Yes… I hope it’s a brand new beginning, a world without so much trouble for me. :D

bing bang = ice block. Many flavours of ice blocks there and here... of course, here ice cream and gelato (ice no cream) is more popular, but in summer the ice cream truck rings and sells well... for kids who have $$ in the afternoons... one item in ur list jumped out... rubber gloves... HMMMM! :P and nobody to hold umbrella for u... awww how romantic to walk in the acid rain :P
